Elizabeth  Reid
is an American Impressionist Painter. Her painting reflects her ability, first to "see" the varied colors and textures. Second to "translate" what she sees onto her canvas, infusing her work with light, brillant color and movement.

Elizabeth Martin Reid has a passion for life, laughter, love, creating, and hard work.    

Elizabeth began painting and creating at an early age. She enjoyed drawing, painting and sculpting throughout her years in high school.
She studied at Ringling School of Art and has since had the good fortune to study with many talented mentors and artist. Guido Frick, Barbara Flowers, Joanne Williams Walker, Sarah Young, Joy Wilson & Stephen Merlin Hayes, just to name a few. She is a member of the American Impressionist Society.

Her artwork is on display in many private homes and featured in several Galleries throughout the South. She accepts commissions for portraits and to paint murals on tile and directly on wall for both private and commercial location. In addition, she has taught art classes in porcelain, oils, watercolor painting and stain glass all along the gulf coast region.
Currently, she teaches in her studio located in McKenzie, Al. Come by and visit her studio,gift and garden shop.
